Contacting me

The contact form sends your name, email address, and message through Cloudflare and Resend to my Namecheap Private Email inbox. I use that information to respond and manage our correspondence. The site does not add you to a marketing list. Please avoid sending sensitive information.

Optional analytics

With your permission, Google Analytics helps me understand visits and use of public pages, including device and browser information and interactions. It is disabled until you opt in. There is no advertising tracking. Analytics is disabled on the development preview and local development addresses.

Google processes analytics information under its privacy policy. Information may be processed outside your country. The site does not intentionally send contact form contents, page query strings, or passwords to Analytics.

For public-site analytics, the retention period for detailed user and event data is two months, without restarting the user-data retention period when you return. Google deletes expired data through its monthly deletion process. Standard aggregated reports can remain available for longer.

Search visibility

I use Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools to understand how this portfolio appears in search results and identify indexing issues. Their reports can include search queries, impressions, and clicks. The site’s ownership verification uses a DNS record or a static meta tag; it does not load a visitor-tracking script or set cookies in your browser.

Your analytics choice controls Google Analytics on this site. It does not control search engines’ crawling of public pages or information they process when you use their services. See Google’s privacy policy and Microsoft’s privacy statement.

Cookies and local storage

Your analytics choice is stored on your device for up to 180 days. If you allow analytics, Google’s _ga and related cookies distinguish visits; the site configures a 180-day cookie lifetime. Browser settings can shorten this. Cookie expiry and Google’s server-side data retention are separate settings.

The development site and private case-study previews use a browser password prompt. Your browser may retain those credentials for the browsing session; the site does not use an analytics cookie for that access.

Use Cookie settings at any time to change your analytics choice. Rejecting analytics stops future collection and removes this site’s accessible Google Analytics cookies; it does not erase information already processed by Google.

Fonts

The site loads its typeface from Adobe Fonts. Your browser connects to Adobe to request the font files, which exposes technical connection information such as your IP address. See Adobe Fonts privacy information.

Videos and other sites

Locally hosted images and videos do not require an external player. External videos connect to their provider only when you choose “Load video.” The provider then receives technical information such as your IP address and may use storage under its own policy. See Vimeo’s privacy policy. Leaving or reloading the page unloads the player.

Security, retention, and requests

Cloudflare hosts the site and media and processes technical connection information to deliver and secure them. To limit form abuse, the site stores a keyed hash of your IP address and a request counter, with automatic expiry configured after one day. It does not store your form message in that counter. Resend processes messages for delivery and retains email and delivery-log data for 30 days on the site’s current plan. Resend stores this data in the United States. See Resend’s data handling and retention information. Delivered messages are stored separately in my Namecheap Private Email inbox; see Namecheap’s privacy policy.

I delete inquiries that do not become projects 12 months after our last exchange. For inquiries that become projects, I retain relevant correspondence with the project records for as long as needed to manage the work and meet contractual or legal recordkeeping obligations. Deleting a message from my inbox does not immediately remove copies retained in provider backups under their own retention practices.
