Activation: SEMA Show 2023 | XPEL

Overview

For SEMA 2023, I developed an architectural activation for XPEL: a modern house combining vehicle displays, product demonstrations, and hospitality.

Challenge

Make a temporary trade-show installation feel like a destination while presenting XPEL’s protection products under one roof.

Solution

Working with the Events team and vendors, I developed the concept and helped shape the layout, finishes, furniture, graphics, and audiovisual experience. The space included a courtyard, covered demonstration bays, lounges, and an upper-deck hospitality area.

Outcome

The completed structure gave XPEL a shared setting for demonstrations, sales meetings, and brand experiences. The gallery follows its development from early concepts to the finished build.

Toolset

Visual design & conceptualization using Adobe Creative Cloud combined with MidJourney. 3D design completed by vendor in SketchUp. Brand integrations, environmental graphics & space planning developed in Illustrator & Indesign. Provided on-site coordination & support, including set dressing & sourcing staging elements for display, vehicle placement, sound design, merchandising, and scent-scaping.
